An industry-leading Private Equity firm is looking to appoint a Finance Assistant into their established Finance Team. The opportunity presented is an ideal move for someone looking to further their career in finance with a widely recognised brand name in the Private Equity world.

The position is newly created and will cover a broad range of responsibilities with a third of the role covering transactional duties and two-thirds focusing on more value add tasks including financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting. Further to this, the incumbent will be working closely with the Finance Manager responsible for the fund accounting presenting a unique opportunity to gain exposure to both the corporate and funds side of finance.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Have 12-18 months experience in a finance position (ideally within financial services although other industries will be considered).
  • Excellent academic background with a strong degree from a top university or equivalent.
  • Either have started an accountancy qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) or have a genuine desire to start one.

Candidates must have strong communication skills and be confident dealing with an array of senior stakeholders including the CFO and the Investment Team.
