Job Description

A niche Lloyd's of London insurer is looking to hire a Finance Business Partner into a newly created role. This Finance Business Partner will specifically support the marketing team by helping them to drive the profitability of the function and manage spend effectively. Whilst the key relationship will be with the Head of Marketing and their team, this role will report into the Head of Performance Management and Planning, and also work closely with the CFO.

The role of the Finance Business Partner is critical to driving the business forward. You will have the natural ability and desire to really get under the skin of what is going on within the marketing function but also the company as a whole. The Finance Business Partner will help the business decide the most effective levers to pull in order to drive the business forward. They will do so by working closely with the business, gaining a deep understanding of the marketing team and overall business operations, utilising MI, and providing insightful analysis to support and challenge business decisions.

Key requirements:

  • Fully Qualified / Almost Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Commercial finance experience with proven stakeholder management capabilities
  • Insurance industry experience required, or a clear understanding of the industry
