Eames Consulting is partnered with a boutique Private Equity firm based in Mayfair looking for a Finance Director to join their small finance team. The firm has made real gains across the Real Estate market since their inception, and pride themselves on their flexible and unique investment style across the Pan-European market.
They are looking for an experienced Financial/ Fund Controller with exposure to Private Equity looking for a step up in role and autonomy; this would be an opportunity to lead the finance team at a crucial point of growth for the firm.
As a Finance Director you will lead the team in:
- Financial management of the management company:Cash flow and budget management, financial control, statutory reporting and coordination of annual audits
- Setting and reviewing annual budgets, forecasts and re-forecasts, including planning, implementing and maintaining accountancy and budgeting systems and policies
- Assisting with the asset management of current and future portfolio investments including but not limited to: financial analysis tasks, portfolio performance monitoring and management, portfolio valuations and development of financial and fund models
- Financial support and management of fund administration including but not limited to:
- Liaising with fund administrators, managing investor requests and queries, calculation of draw downs and distributions and investor and board reporting
Ideally, you will be:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA (or international equivalent) with experience in a Big 4 Practice firm
- Post qualification experience in a Financial Control position including exposure to private equity (or similar) fund structures
- Strong financial modelling skills in Excel (VBA desirable)
- Highly numerate, methodical in prioritising work and multi-tasking and able to demonstrate attention to detail with great communication skills
- Ability to work with discretion when dealing with confidential information
