Job Description

Exciting new opportunity to join a global Asset Management firm with over £25 billion AUM. The firm are looking to add a Finance manager to oversee operations in Ireland. The role is based in London and will only require quarterly trips to the Irish office. The position offers a high amount of autonomy and will see you liaise directly with Senior stakeholders in deciding the direction of the business. Experience of asset management is required.

Key Accountabilities

  • Directly involvement in Capital management
  • Oversight of all Financial activity across the Irish entity
  • Preparation of planning packs to be presented to senior stakeholders CFO board members and department heads etc.
  • Key communicator with outsourced functions
  • Accountable for monthly forecasts and strategic planning across multiple functions

Required skills

  • Self-starter, and problem solver, who takes responsibility and with a drive for execution, aiming at quality and delivery to timescale and budget
  • Excellent communication, relationship management skills
  • Microsoft Excel skills with experience of handling large volumes of data.
  • Knowledge of Navision and SAP would be a plus.
  • Experience and qualifications:
  • Experience in asset management / investment oriented environment preferred
  • Qualified Accountant
  • Knowledge of ICAAP is desirable but not essential training will be provided
