Medium sized European private equity house is looking to appoint an interim Finance Manager for a period of six months to back fill a permanent role. This role is running as a fixed term contract and we're looking for someone who can start within the next 1-2 weeks (early March at the latest). The company have a busy pipeline of work with this role focused purely on the corporate accounting side of the business, covering all day to day accounting for several entities, management accounting and reporting (ie: board packs, budgeting and forecasting etc), financial accounting and involvement in some ad hoc financial analysis. You'd work for an experienced Financial Controller and also oversee a junior part qualified accountant who covers all day to day transactional work.

The hiring manager is open to candidates from all industries and sectors and knowledge of private equity or funds management isn't essential but you do need formal accounting qualifications with ideally a few years PQE or equivalent. You'll need to have experience covering a mixture of management and financial accounting in a busy and dynamic operating environment, with the ability to pick up ad hoc requests quickly. Ideally you'll also have advanced Excel knowledge (ie: pivot tables, sum ifs, basic macros) and any exposure to Sun Accounting systems would be a distinct advantage.

Salary on offer is £65-75K equivalent plus benefits and location is central London.
