One of the UK's leading institutional asset managers are looking to expand their real estate finance team with the addition of a new Finance Manager. Headquartered in London, the firm's property portfolio boasts of c £2bln and is growing.
Reporting into the Financial Controller, this role will include financial and performance reporting on the property portfolio as well as similar real estate investment vehicles.
As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Financial matters of the real estate portfolio and oversight of two individuals
- Quarterly management accounts and investor reports
- Annual budgeting and planning, including variance and performance analysis
- Maintenance and oversight of JV and statutory accounting records
- Liaison with fund managers, administrators and property managers
- Accounting for acquisitions, including performance fees
- Cash and liquidity management
There is similarly an opportunity within this role to assist on key new funds and joint ventures within the firm.
You will be:
- ACA/ACCA/ACMA Qualified (or international equivalent) with a relevant number of year(s) post qualification
- Experienced in accounting for the Real Estate Investment Management Industry
- Managerial experience would be a significant advantage
- Strong communication skills and confidence in challenging stakeholders
