A highly active venture capital backed recruitment company is looking to appoint a Finance Manager in a newly created position, owing to growth and transformation.
The firm invests in recruitment businesses and has ambitious plans to double the size of the portfolio in the next 12 months. As a result, the business is investing in setting up a robust finance team to ensure they are well-positioned for this growth.
The Finance Manager will report directly to the new Finance Director in a team that has undergone significant restructuring as the firm continues to gear up for an exciting growth phase. Essentially coming in as a number two in finance, the incumbent will enjoy a hands-on role and be responsible for taking ownership of the following:
- Production of internal and external financial reporting
- Production of management accounts
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Production of board packs and management information
- Working with the portfolio companies and undertaking financial consulting
- Undertaking ad hoc financial analysis
- Supervision of an experienced bookkeeper
The role is suited for someone with well-rounded accounting experience, ideally from a recruitment firm, however other industries and small accountancy practices will also be taken into consideration. The ideal candidate will have a formal accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) however finalist level candidates will also be considered.

On offer is a salary of £50,000-55,000 depending on your level of experience with a discretionary bonus and generous wider benefits package.
