Working for a FTSE listed Investment Manager, we are seeking to recruit a Qualified Accountant to join their team
The main duties of the role:
- Providing input into the Group's budgeting and forecasting process
- Preparing and reviewing the monthly staff costs variance to budget and prior year;
- Be a key contributor to the whole Annual Report and Accounts for the Group
- Own the preparation of subsidiary entity financial statements,
- Managing the Group's share purchase programme and liaising with the external trust managers
- Preparing and posting the IFRS related charges on the Group's share options in issue on a monthly basis
- Develop financial models to help assess proposed remuneration schemes and present these to management;
- Participate in the yearly and half yearly financial statements preparation and review process
- Oversee the accounting aspects of the Group's variable compensation, benefits and share based compensation arrangements
Experience Sought
- Qualified Accountant - ACCA / ACA or equivalent - ideal move for a recently qualified individual from a Top 20 Audit Firm
- Strong communication skills, as this role is visible to Senior Management - ability to engage stakeholders, present well & distil complex information into meaningful content is key
- Proven experience & understanding of IFRS / Financial Accounting principles
