An exciting opportunity with a global bank offering a wide range of financial services covering but not limited to Corporate Banking, Trust Services, Securities Services and Asset Management.

Responsibilities: 

You will be reporting to the team lead and be responsible for:

  • Monthly, quarterly and year end closing activities on financial statements
  • Assisting in process improvement projects and implement any changes within the Finance department
  • Assisting in documentation and other administrative activities relevant to both internal and external financial reporting activities
  • Advising on relevant accounting standards and its respective treatment
  • Ad-hoc activities and projects as directed by the team lead/ department head

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant Accounting/ Finance experience with a Bank
  • Degree in Accountancy, Banking, Business or other relevant professional qualification
  • Advantageous to have a Compliance background and having operated at a regional capacity
  • Strong analytical ability to optimise exciting processes and tech-savvy
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders and ability to work under tight deadlines
