A highly active venture capital portfolio company is looking to appoint a Financial and Management Accountant in a newly created position, owing to growth and transformation.
The position will report to a new Finance Director in a team that has undergone significant restructuring as the firm continues to gear up for an exciting growth phase.
Essentially coming in as a number two in finance, the incumbent will enjoy a hands-on role and be responsible for taking ownership of the following:
- Production of internal and external financial reporting
- Production of management accounts
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Production of board packs and management information
- Undertaking ad hoc financial analysis
- Supervision of an experienced bookkeeper
The role is ideal for a recently qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) coming from a small company background who has hands-on experience preparing accounts. This might be an industry role or you could be at a small accountancy practice working with similar clients.

On offer is a salary of £55,000-60,000 depending on your level of experience with a discretionary bonus and wider benefits package.
