Eames Consulting are partnering with a mid-sized Private Equity firm who are seeking a Financial Controller to cover a 12Month Maternity Contract - we are seeking those who are able to start Mid-May 2023 to provide time for a handover

The role will take on responsibility for a range of Financial Control tasks, such as;

  • Financial reporting including preparation of individual statutory financial statements for the under IFRS and LUX GAAP & Jersey FSC and distribution to relevant internal & external parties
  • Support as point of contact during year end audit
  • Monthly management reporting including balance sheet reconciliations, variance reporting on budgets & ensuring costs management and deification is accurate
  • Responsible for recharge of Fund expenses LPA's - ensuring the correct fees and charges are being applied to the appropriate funds
  • Analysis & reporting of all major revenue and expenditure
  • Responsible for co-ordination of income recognition and collation of income in line with fund LP agreements
  • Responsible for all aspects of cost allocation and ensuring proper reimbursement of costs

Your background:

  • Fully qualified accountant - ACA, CA, ACCA or equivalent - with experience gained in-house in an alternative or traditional asset manager
  • Exposure to IFRS Accounting, as well as either Lux or Jersey Reporting requirements
  • Likely around the 2-5 years PQE mark or thereabouts
  • Hands-on operational experience in a front to back finance role
  • First class communication skills and adept at building up relationships with stakeholders across the business; comfortable working with and presenting to Partners/Board level
  • Positive attitude and happy to turn your hand to a bit of everything and anything
