Summary

This role is a brand new headcount with a leading insurance business, and will work closely with senior stakeholders across 2 different business units. You will be in charge of overseeing the financial reporting, and will work closely with stakeholders on projects to improve the efficiency of the reporting systems, as well as other project work on resource allocation and improving synergy between these functions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee all financial reporting and operation activities of the business unit
  • Act as a business partner to provide management and financial information in making strategic and operational decisions
  • Develop and implement finance and control systems and processes that align with Bupa's overall vision and its business objectives
  • Maintain robust working relationships with bankers, auditors, tax advisors, key customers and vendor

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Finance related major
  • Qualified Accountant with over 10 years relevant experience and successful track record in insurance industry
  • An experienced financial executive with relevant and transferable skills gained from large multinational or complex organizations
  • Over 5 years of managerial experience working at the Leadership/Management Team level is desired
  • Solid experience in regulatory reporting at executive level
  • Past working experience in Big 4 company or other professional firm is highly desirable
  • Well verse on accounting standards and local insurance regulations
  • Practical experience in managing process improvement and automation project is preferable
