A Global Asset Manager are looking for someone with great stakeholder management ability to come in as their Cost Allocation Manager for their London Office. The role has great exposure to the senior management team and will see you have responsibility for entities across the globe. You'll be largely focused on process improvement around cost and expenses in order to drive process efficiency.


  • Development, deployment and ongoing production of cost allocation reporting
  • Act as point of contact for internal and external stakeholders providing analysis as needed
  • Key point of contact for internal Tax colleagues, providing timely and complete analysis of allocation movements and information that is used in VAT returns
  • Oversee all aspects of our cost allocations and recharges, including creation of policy and ensuring adherence to it
  • Documentation, calculation and maintenance of cost allocation drivers and development of tools to ensure the operational efficiency of these processes
  • Be a subject matter expert for cost allocations and associated systems and processes

Experience and Qualifications required

  • Qualified accountant with the following accreditations ACCA, ACA or CIMA
  • Keen problem solver with a technical and operational mind-set
  • Experienced in providing business support to stakeholders
  • Confident communicator capable of explaining complex processes to users with and without finance backgrounds
  • Self-starterer able to work independently and deliver change on a timely basis
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong IT skills including Excel, with Oracle and HFM experience an advantage
  • Have a team focus and be adaptable and willing to learn
  • Deadline focussed
  • Diligent, accurate and aware of the control environment
  • Responsive to ad-hoc queries
