A Private Equity house based in London, is looking to add headcount in their finance team due to growth. The firm are searching for a recently qualified ACA in a broad financial control position that will encompass back, middle and front office duties.
The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to grow in an impressive firm, with direct senior exposure to the CIO and CFO, with a reputation for hiring the best and brightest individuals. With this in mind, the position offers excellent bonus potential.
The position would suit a recently qualified ACA looking for a first move into industry, exposure to senior business partners and a broad remit across the Finance and investment teams.
Key responsibilities
- Finance: Financial management of the corporate company, including audit management, financial reporting, budgeting and cash flow management.
- Fund finance: Management of external administrators, PE fund accounting, investor reporting and oversight of regulatory compliance.
- Assisting the investment team: Asset management assistance of current and future portfolio investments, developing financial models, portfolio performance monitoring and portfolio valuations.
Key skills
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or international equivalent)
- Audit experience within financial services, preferably private equity
- Strong modelling/ Excel skills
- Experience and strong technical knowledge of: IFRS, UK GAAP, FCA regulated entities
