A well known global real estate and private equity firm is seeking to add a new Fund Accountant to their fast-paced and dynamic workforce and is ideally looking to hire someone recently qualified from a small to medium sized practice. Responsibilities will include:
- Oversee all preparation of asset and fund level management accounts
- Use innovative thinking to boost efficiency and improve processes
- Take on the responsibility of coaching some of the junior staff
- The production of quarterly NAV’s, along with investor tax, CIS and VAT reports
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with IRFS and UK GAAP.
Your profile is likely to include:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA or an international equivalent coming from a background in a small to medium sized accounting firm
- A full understanding of IRFS and UK GAAP along with any other relevant accounting standards
- Previous experience in managing and developing junior staff
- Excellent interpersonal skills- you will often have to give presentations and be able to answer any follow up questions
- Preparation of reports at asset and fund level
- A minimum of a 2:1 degree or equivalent
