A global Private Equity firm is looking to appoint a Fund Controller into its team based in Central London.

The incumbent will report directly into an experienced Head of Funds Finance and will be largely responsible for the financial control of the firm's five funds. In accompaniment to this core finance piece, the role will support heavily from a commercial perspective and will work closely with the Investment and Investor Relations teams. Areas of support will include transactions, valuations and due diligence. In addition, the individual will be the go-to for all value add financial analysis and modelling across the funds - it's vital that this can be effectively communicated and presented to a range of key stakeholders - including those without a finance background.

Despite it being a somewhat flat hierarchy, there is a huge opportunity for growth with detailed training and development plans on offer as the firm continues to shift its focus to value add activities to help drive the business forward.

Requirements for the position include:

  • You must be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent.
  • It is ESSENTIAL you have over three years' experience working with closed-ended fund structures - this can either be from an audit setting (i.e Big4/Top 20 firm) or working in a fund or for a third-party administrator.
  • Experience working with valuations is preferred.
  • Excellent academic background.

A generous salary is provided in the region of £65,000-80,000 with strong bonus potential and a comprehensive wider benefits package.
