A superb opportunity for an experienced Fund Controller or Funds Finance Manager to join the real estate arm of a global investment manager in a newly created and highly commercial role. The company have several billion in AUM in Europe dedicated purely to commercial property investments and outsource as much as possible in terms of finance, fund admin and operations. This role would sit in with the investment and portfolio managers working at a high level on all fund accounting oversight, operations, tax, treasury, service provider management and internal reporting for a newly launched £1.5bn fund providing you with ample opportunity to sharpen your real estate knowledge in a forward facing role.
We're keen to consider people who are qualified accountants (ACA or equivalent) from a real estate or property fund accounting background - be that open ended or listed funds or closed end structures. You'll need to be comfortable operating at a relatively high level in a semi-autonomous environment that will involve a lot of management of various stakeholders both internally and externally. Excellent communication skills, a hands on attitude and genuine interest in real estate asset management are essential given the nature of the role. Longer term this is a fantastic entry point into a diverse global group with offices in all major financial centres and substantial operations in London.
