A well-known European Property Asset Manager is urgently looking to appoint an experienced Fund Controller into a newly created role. The business has sprung out of nowhere in the last ten years with a number of successful fund raises to their name and exceptional reputation across commercial real estate.
Reporting into the Head of Funds Finance in a highly outsourced environment, responsibilities will include all deal support through to fund accounting and investor reporting (review) and fund operations for a £1.5bn AUM pan-European fund. As per most funds a lot of the basic work is outsourced to various service providers with the value add kept in-house. The role is also likely to include a lot of ad hoc support to the investment and portfolio teams in addition to oversight of various third party relationships. Ideal if you're looking for a more commercially orientated role with genuine exposure to the investment process. Lastly you'll also be responsible for managing and develop two junior accountants.
We're looking for someone who has a background in fund accounting or funds finance for real estate funds - essential - from either a fund or third party administrator. The company offers a supportive culture, flexible working environment and plenty of opportunity to progress longer term with multiple examples of where people have moved into more senior roles across finance, operations, portfolio and asset management.
Salary on offer is £80-120,000 depending on level and experience in addition to exceptional (30-50%) bonus potential.
