A growing private equity real estate firm situated in Central London is looking to appoint a Portfolio Administrator into its Fund Management Team, reporting directly to an experienced Fund Manager.

The incumbent will be a key area of support for one of the business's successful social housing funds. The day to day will involve providing administrative support to the fund manager and wider team for the existing fund and future funds as the firm continues to grow.

The position promises plenty of variety in the day to day and a chance to be a part of a team making a positive difference in the social housing sector.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Assist the Fund Manager and wider Fund team in the administration of the Fund, collating information from key counterparties and helping with the production of investment committee packs, investor updates and other reporting requirements
  • Provide support as required in terms of the management of the transaction process, instructing third party advisors as part of the due diligence process
  • Provide updated portfolio information to the Fund's valuer (CBRE) on a quarterly basis to ensure the timely and accurate reporting of the Fund valuation.
  • Lead the maintenance of the Fund's internal data to ensure the accuracy of the information held.
  • Liaise with the Fund's insurance brokers in terms of the management of claims and additional cover requirements
  • Work with the Fund Manager and external Fund Administrator to ensure the timely approval of payment of invoices

Our ideal profile:

  • A solid administrative background - ideally within Real Estate - however, other backgrounds will be considered
  • Strong communication skills and must be comfortable communicating with a variety of different stakeholders

On offer is a salary in the region of £35,000-45,000 depending on experience with a performance related bonus and wider benefits package including private medical and other perks. Flexibility can be provided for any suitable profiles who are looking for part-time work.
