Job Description

My client needs to respond a series of changes in legislation around data protection and cyber security. A project has been set up in response, and the business is now seeking a programme manager to progress this.

The role will work with multiple stakeholders and teams throughout the organisation, and with external teams brought in by the project to contribute their expertise.

The role will require the ability to see the big picture and synergies in approaches alongside an ability to understand the nuances of a compliance environment that runs over multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities:

  • Drives the delivery of the project(s)
  • Creates and maintains detailed yet pragmatic project plans
  • Understands, communicates and regularly reassess major risks and issues associated with the delivery of the project
  • Manages and run the Steering Committee ensuring it is an effective decision making body
  • Ensures key stakeholders, internally and externally, are aware of what is required and when
  • Engages and ensures delivery from multiple teams, working internationally, in a variety of jurisdictions and to a variety of senior stakeholders

Experience:

  • Success implementing complex legislation into complex business environments
  • Experience working with legal or compliance teams
  • Demonstrable stakeholder management to Executive level
