A well-established insurer are looking to bring on a Senior Technical Pricing Analyst to work in their Geospatial Pricing and Analysis Team, across their Commercial lines of business.
The responsibilities of this role will include setting the risk price for the commercial insurance products, using geospatial software to better understand the risks and be able to price them accordingly. You would be developing and maintaining models, using traditional and alternative modelling techniques and performing analysis of claims data.
The role will include high levels of interaction with different functional units.
The ideal candidate will be educated to at least degree level in a numeric discipline, with experience in an analytic/pricing or data science role. You should have working knowledge of softwares such as Emblem and/or Radar, and programming languages such as SAS, Python and R.
This is an ideal role for a technical insurance individual who has an A-level, Degree or experience in Geography/Geo-work.
