Leading International Bank is currently searching for an experienced Financial Reporting manager to join their London desk. This role has been created through an internal move and is an ideal opportunity for a candidate looking for a financial reporting role whilst still having a heavy involvement in process improvements and projects for the desk.
Responsibilities
- Management of the production of the annual statutory accounts for the company.
- Supervision of the preparation of monthly financial reports.
- Lead the preparation of quarterly financial reports to the UK Board of Directors and providing financial commentary.
- Manage the delivery of the new Pillar 3 reporting disclosure for the organisation.
- Key role on all accounting policies and standards for London through providing technical guidance to the front office and key stakeholders.
- Perform detailed analysis of the accounting of new business initiatives.
- Responsibility for the implementation and subsequent reporting of the FINREP regulatory returns.
- Responsible for the accurate and timely submission of the FINREP templates to the PRA.
- Supervision of one controller.
- Implementing an strong control framework across the department.
Requirements
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA).
- Proven Experience within Financial Services – Ideally with the Banking Industry.
- Extensive Experience within Statutory Accounting.
- Prior experience in producing Financial Statements and Disclosures.
- Good knowledge of IFRS9 Standards.
- Experience of managing or mentoring a small team.
