My client, Lloyd's market insurer, is looking for a Group Reporting Accountant to join their reporting team. The role is based in the City of London and is paying up to £100k for the right candidate.
You will be mainly responsible for the accurate consolidation of the group's international internal and external reporting requirements, and ensuring that the appropriate controls are in place for an accurate and timely consolidation process. You will also be responsible for all technical papers including those related to consolidation balances and transactions.
Your group accounting experience at an insurer will be essential for this and your experience analysing data from general ledgers and databases will be key. As the ideal candidate, you will be a qualified accountant with an in-depth understanding of the London Insurance Market from both a Lloyd's and a company market's perspective. Your strong communications skills will server you well as you will be engaging with staff at all levels and building strong working relationships.
