An International Reinsurance business is currently looking to appoint a Group Reporting Accountant to be based in the company's UK headquarters. Reporting to the Group Reporting Manager the Accountant will take responsibility for the timely preparation and submission of core reports required by the parent company.

The Group Reporting Accountant will focus on the time preparation and submission of core reports to the parent company. In addition to the core reporting the Group Reporting Accountant will be involved in process reviews relating to the consolidation processes, analysis of group reporting outputs, assessing and maintaining internal controls, as well as supporting system change and process improvement projects.

The successful applicant will possess the following:

  • Qualified Accountant with around 3 years PQE. 
  • Insurance industry experience.
  • Reinsurance accounting experience ideal but not essential.
  • Qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
  • Capable of working well independently but also interacts well with colleagues/other departments.
