Leading financial services organisation is searching for an experienced group reporting manager to join their London desk. This role has been created through internal mobility and is an ideal opportunity for a candidate looking to build on their managerial experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the month end close process for company-wide consolidation including additional external reporting requirements at interim and year end.
  • Key contact point for external audit providing audit deliverables and ad-hoc analysis as well as managing the statutory audit timeline.
  • Identify and implement improvements to month end processes and controls, e.g. improved close process, balance sheet reconciliation through optimisation of Oracle systems.
  • Work closely with wider finance community to enhance reporting quality and efficiency.
  • Development of monthly divisional management reporting for company- wide consolidation.

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant – Ideally ACA gained from Big 4
  • Financial control/legal entity control experience gained from a FTSE 250 organisation
  • Experience working on large multi-currency consolidations.
  • Proven ability to in challenge current processes and implementing efficiencies.
  • Supervisory experience of small team
