A leading multinational life insurance are seeking a Head of Capital Management to lead and drive the financial performance within their business.
Acting as a technical leader and work alongside the executive committees and boards and the role will involve in:
- Leading the management of the balance sheet to maintain appropriate financial strength and drive the capital management
- Focusing on the framework for asset liability management to deliver business objectives
- Leading actuarial programs where new methodologies, frameworks and concepts are created
- Acting as a trusted advisor to the business to interpret complex recommendations
The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Actuary within life insurance with good knowledge of financial services regulatory and legislative frameworks. Experience in investment, ALM and capital management techniques would be advantageous. Understanding of the Solvency I and Solvency II/Economic Capital is strongly preferred.
