An opportunity has become available to work at the forefront of the InsurTech industry, delivering complex innovative products on a global scale. You would join the research and development arm of a leading insurer who seek to develop ground breaking technology solutions in partnership with similar organisations. Through a culture of inter-company collaboration and the utilisation of the firms wider technology operations, the R&D group is able to build complex proof of concepts to take to market followed up by scaleable solutions for large scale deployment.
This role will see ownership of the firm's entire portfolio of projects that are in-flight or upcoming. Currents projects incorporate OCR, RPA, AI, and advanced data analytics, all with improving common issues across the insurance industry.
You will be have an extensive technical background gained from many years operating in the insurance space. You will have taken on leadership positions in your career and be familiar with running multiple, concurrent complex projects on a global scale. You will have a flair for innovation and be passionate about discovering a better way to operate. This role will not see you directly line manage a large number of reports but will rely on your ability to liaise with internal teams, third party suppliers and resources in partner firms to deliver these solutions. You will be comfortable dealing at a low level with technical architects and others involved in software development to determine the most suitable approach. You will have constant interface at C-suite level.
