Eames Consulting has been exclusively retained by One of the UK's leading Insurance firms, operating in the Lloyds of London market who are seeking an experienced Head of IT (CTO) to join their city based team. The firm in question is growing rapidly and require an innovative, highly professional problem solver to join their cutting edge service delivery team in tech role.
The role of Head of IT (CTO) will take a full lead role in the build and run of the firms IT department based in London. Working in a heavily outsourced environment you will be responsible for ensuring the technology landscape adds maximum value to the business and acts as a key contributor to on-going success. You will be a string strategy thinker with a very strong understanding of both modern technology trends and approaches as well as strong business acumen and knowledge of the London Markets Insurance sector.
To be considered for the role of Head of IT (CTO) you will have:
- Strong experience working at a Head of IT or CTO within the insurance space (5+ years)
- Experience of designing and delivery complex IT strategy
- Experience operating at CxO level, presenting to board level execs and communicating tech strategy to business stakeholders
- Experience of selecting and implementing IT services, technology and SaaS solutions
- Managing and leading teams of technologists at various levels
- Experience working with 3rd party suppliers/vendors
- Degree educated, MBA preferred
