A growing global insurer in the City of London is urgently looking for a Head of Planning and Control to join their finance team. The role reports directly to the UK CFO, and is paying up to £120k + bonus and benefits for the right candidate.

You will be mainly responsible for managing the planning and control function for the UK business, ensuring timely and accurate production, analysis and distribution of all financial information. You will also support the Heads of UK business lines and the CFO with strategic planning.

A major part of the role involves challenging different parts of the business such as the underwriting, reinsurance, and actuarial teams so it is crucial that you have a solid understanding of how an insurance business works. You experience in planning and control will also be crucial, as well as your experience managing a team.
