My client is seeking an experienced pricing actuary for a dymanic leadership role within their retail and group protection businesses. The role holder will oversee and lead the development of innovative new risk pricing ideas, as well as the strategic review of the business' existing approach to risk pricing to ensure that future decision making is of high quality and consistent with developing actuarial strategy.
Suitable candidates will be qualified actuaries with significant pricing experience within a life insurer/reinsurer. A detailed understanding of actuarial techniques for pricing long term insurance products and a sound knowledge of protection products and the impact of product features on risk assumptions is essential.
