Head of IT (Azure and DevOps Specialist)

As we continue to expand our digital capabilities, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of IT with expertise in Azure and DevOps to lead our technology team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the IT department, ensuring the effective delivery of technology solutions in line with business objectives.
• Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the company's goals and foster innovation.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of Azure-based infrastructure and services.
• Drive the adoption of DevOps practices, promoting collaboration between development and operations teams to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Provide technical leadership in the design and implementation of scalable and secure systems.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technology solutions.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, making recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Head of IT or similar leadership role, preferably within the insurance sector.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure cloud services and infrastructure management.
• Expertise in implementing and optimizing DevOps practices to streamline development and deployment processes.
• Strong understanding of IT security and compliance best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or DevOps Engineer Expert are highly desirable.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing and managing Azure-based solutions.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
