We are looking for a Hosting & Cloud Automation Lead for a prominent insurance company in City of London. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a company witnessing great transformation.
You need to be familiar with Agile / DevOps methodologies and have 5+ years of experience in an Infrastructure team working with AWS, Azure and on-premises Infrastructure. You also need to have knowledge of server operating systems. You also need to possess technology management skills, including knowing how to use effectively IT infrastructure components and monitors their performance. You also need 5+ years of experience in leading the design and support of enterprise wide IT infrastructure.
The salary is £72k, depending on skills and experience. This is the ideal opportunity to oversee the Data Centres and Cloud projects. You will also engage with other stakeholders to design and deliver projects on cloud strategy and data centres. You will be a crucial part of ensuring smooth management of cloud services and on-premises data centres.
Essential skills and qualifications
Familiar with Agile / DevOps methodologies
5+ years of experience in Infrastructure (AWS, Azure & on premises infrastructure)
Knowledge of server operating systems
Excellent technology management skills (how to use effectively IT infrastructure components and monitors their performance)
5+ years of experience in leading the design and support of enterprise wide IT infrastructure
