A global insurer is looking for a Qualified Actuary to join their Team, working across all commercial lines of business. This role will report directly into the Head of Actuarial Commercial Lines.
The responsibilities of this role will include leading over a small actuarial team of analysts across reserving, capital and risk. You will be required to often support the IFRS17 Actuarial workstream, regularly producing IFRS17 and technical reserves. As well as this, you will be assessing the loss ratios and product profitability.
This role will require regular liaison with different functional units, such as Actuarial, Finance, Capital Modelling, Underwriting, Reinsurance Teams and other stakeholders. Thus this role requires the great communicative and interpersonal skills.
The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Actuary with Reserving and Project Management skills, as well as a strong business acumen.
