The Opportunity
You will lead the successful implementation of IFRS 17 for the company as a key member of the IFRS 17 project team, by contribution of Actuarial expertise and information.
Responsibilities
- Participate in preparation and analysis of financial impact assessment for IFRS 17
- Translate IFRS 17 technical requirements into system and business requirements
- Involve in the design / implementation of target operating model for IFRS 17 as well as end-to-end solutions from Prophet to accounting systems
- Review model results and implement changes to Prophet/DCS for IFRS 17 purpose
- Conduct end-to-end testing on Actuarial systems for IFRS17 purpose
- Provide guidance and coaching to junior team members who are involved in the IFRS 17 project
Requirements
- At least 5 years of actuarial experience in Life Insurance with hands on working experience in Prophet system
- IFRS 17 implementation experience
- Proficient in Prophet modeling, strong modeling skills; Experience with ALS model is a plus
