Leading Lloyds Insurer is currently searching for a Group Planning and MI Manager to join their London team. This is a newly created role and has arisen due to a strategic restructure to create a centralised IFRS17 Finance function. This position will also cover the oversight of Planning & MI for the Group function alongside the IFRS17 programme.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversight and ownership all aspects of Budgeting and Forecasting setting and Management Reporting for IFRS 17
  • Own the internal IFRS 17 budget and forecast timetable, ensuring data points meet the needs of the corporate timetable. This includes tracking progress of all inputs and outputs across Group Finance and Group Actuarial
  • Ownership of the tools providing planning services for IFRS 17, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of IFRS 17 budgeting and forecasting deliverables, analytics, and scenarios (technical and non-technical) to all relevant committees and boards
  • Communicate clearly both written and verbally with regards to forward looking group P&L results, ensuring concise articulation of the key drivers
  • Oversight of all IFRS 17 MI submissions across the IFRS 17 Specialist and Global Business Management functions
  • Production of ad hoc IFRS 17 KPI's, productivity metrics and value add analysis driven by stakeholders both inside and outside of Finance
  • Ownership of any audit deliverables relating to IFRS 17 internal MI
  • Embed oneself within wider company activities and support various Finance projects and initiatives

Requirements:

  • Proven FP&A/Business Partnering experience within the Lloyds Insurance market or IFRS17 Reporting experience
  • Qualified Accountant (CA, ACCA or CIMA)
  • Strong Excel and Presentation skills
  • Proven process improvement and project experience
  • Strong Data Analysis and MI Skills
