Working for a US Asset Manager, you will lead on Indirect Tax management for the EMEA Region. The firm operate an outsourced model so the key skills are oversight of the external compliance and acting as a key stakeholder to the business
The successful candidate will posses strong, ideally European wide, VAT knowledge, will interact well with advisers and be seen as a key member of the EMEA team
Projects within the team include Automation of the Indirect Tax process, so experience to Ad-hoc or delivery of change in a previous role would be highly valued
Qualifications & Skills
- A proven background in indirect tax with strong technical skills - Gained within Big 4 / Top 6 Practice
- Financial Services experience desirable but not essential
- Exceptional communicator and able to manage senior stakeholders independently
- Commercially minded and with the ability to translate Tax concepts into commercial impact
- Previous experience of advising on partially exempt matters is desirable
- Well-organised with the ability to prioritise and direct others
- Qualified Accountant with post Qualified experience
- Experience within complex, multi national firms and / or Professional Services
Flexible working policy - Embedding 3 days in office, 2 from home
