A global reinsurer is looking for a bright, ambitious and proactive individual seeking an entry level role to join their growing team focusing on the firm's aviation business. The candidate will have an excellent amount of technical knowledge where they will be involved in the provision of insightful data analytics and reporting, bringing about a fresh perspective to both new and existing clients' risk portfolios. The opportunity will provide the successful candidate with streamlined career progression and development as well as the opportunity to communicate with clients and develop both their relationship management and analytical skills.
The responsibilities include:
- Excellent quality data analysis, cleansing and reporting.
- Conduct research into areas of interest for the firm's aviation business and produce reports to expand the team's knowledge.
- Database design and management and delivering consulting solutions (models/reports) within agreed timeframes and budget.
- Building and maintaining solid relationships with both internal and external clients.
The successful candidate will have:
- 0-3 years' experience within data analysis/insurance.
- Relevant undergraduate/postgraduate degree (numerate/analytical).
- Experience with MS Office suite (Access and Excel).
- Knowledge of programming languages (Visual Basic preferred).
- Database design, SQL coding knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills.
