Job Description

An international bank is looking for a Project Manager to join their insurance arm. As they are starting on their IFRS 17, they are looking for someone with strong insurance background to join their team and spearhead this project. 

Responsibilities

  • Understand the IFRS reporting guidelines and scope the business requirements
  • Manage and control projects to meet exacting timescales necessary in a competitive market place
  • Define the approach and deal with complex requirements and unique projects, often multiple initiatives
  • Achieve benefits such as cost reduction, revenue increase, strategic goals which are set out in the business case 
  • Manage business and technology stakeholders 

Requirements

  • Prior experience working on insurance projects or strong knowledge on IFRS on the business side
  • At least 5 years of experience working with Insurance firms
  • Strong knowledge of Project management skills
  • Stakeholder management experience, especially impactful communication, influencing and running project governance Implementation, change management and benefits realization
  • Good prioritizing, mutiskills, organizational, time management ability and able to work in dynamic and fast pace culture
  • Hands-on attitude being able to cope with a wide range of different requirements and projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong Team skills promoting and environment of cooperation and trust, overcoming resistance where encountered. 
  • Good understanding of Business Transformation Management Framework, Business Case, User Story, and tools like Clarity, Status Report and Open Workbench
