A major top tier investment bank is looking to enhance the capability of its Internal Audit function to respond to the changing Conduct Risk landscape. This will be a lead role in London within a global team all focused on Conduct and Supervision.

You would manage two direct reports initially as well as providing training and internal consultancy to the wider markets audit teams in matters relating to Conduct Risk. As such, you will need to talk the language of the front office and have good understanding of the processes and products of investment banking in order to display credibility, even though you won't be working on traditional trading desk or product audits.

The exposure which comes with this role is to the highest levels within Group Internal Audit but also to extremely senior people within the business. As such, you will need to demonstrate experience of having operated under scrutiny from very senior stakeholders as well as facing off to the regulators.

All in all, the is a very interesting remit allowing someone with a strong conduct risk profile, gained within internal audit or in another non-audit role, to work on some of the most high profile and stimulating subject matter faced by the bank at the moment.
