This leadership position within an established corporate and investment banking internal audit is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in preferably corporate banking and in particular transaction banking, to step into management.
Subject matter expertise in areas like trade finance, cash management, liquidity and FX sales would be very helpful but as the wider team covers capital markers, research, leveraged finance and thematic reviews of things like financial crime, there is some flexibility on the specific banking experience which auditors have.
Ideally you will have some good audit lead experience and may have done some work coaching and developing less experienced auditor if not full line management.
