A market-leading African Bank is looking to appoint an Internal Auditor into a twelve-month fixed term contract position in its audit team based in Central London. The role sits in a small team of four reporting directly into the Head of Internal Audit.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provision of independent and objective assurance to strengthen the Bank's operations by undertaking risk management, control and governance processes
  • Ensuring all procedures are being carried out in accordance with internal procedures covering operations and controls
  • Identification and assessment of risks across the Bank's dealings
  • Continuous liaison with the audit and compliance committee

Requirements include:

  • An accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent
  • A minimum of three years experience in either an internal audit or external audit role within financial services
  • Must be readily available to start
