A leading international insurance and reinsurance company are expanding their UK and European internal audit team with the creation of an Internal Auditor position. Joining a 5 person London based team which provides assurance over the activities in London, Continental Europe and also South Africa, this position is the perfect proving ground for someone who has strong operational insurance knowledge and keen to transition into an Internal Audit role or someone from a financial services external audit background, wanting to learn all about insurance.

You will work to a hybrid model if you choose, with 2 days in their brand new and high spec London offices. As business travel begins to start again, you will also have the opportunity to join colleagues on audits of their regional subsidiaries requiring a few days away in Europe.

The global audit function, numbers around 40 professionals and as such, there is all the support, training and international mobility that you should expect from a department of this scale. If you are not professionally qualified or fully professionally qualified, then it would be an option to pursue this alongside this role.

Some of the subject matter is quite technical in nature so people with a strong grounding in data, actuarial science or other quantitative subjects would be of particular interest.
