A Lloyd's Market specialist insurance company are building out a new 2nd line of defence internal controls team and want to attract an experienced risk and controls professional to lead Sox and Control Self-Assessment reviews.
You will lead testing programs and assist in controls design and will therefore need significant experience in Sox / JSox. The role sits within Risk Management, but your experience may be from an internal or external audit background. Insurance industry experience is preferable, even if you've not performed internal controls work within insurance.
You will have responsibility to coach and mentor less experienced staff and in time, this is likely to become a formal line management relationship as the role and the team grow.
