Our client is looking for an underwriter to join an existing team of property underwriters. The role will pick up and run with an existing book of international property business. Candidates will need to know the existing international brokers in order to pick up and run with the book. The rating tool can be learned in a relatively short time span but the broker network cannot be taught and this is the key to hitting the ground running. The book is a mixture of primary and excess layers and has a varied mixture of sub classes i.e. industrial, retail etc. Candidates will need to have London market property experience.
