Job Description

A major banking group has created a new role for someone with a grounding in audit or finance and a keen interest in the processes of investment banking.

The subject matter which you will grow expertise in, will encompass technical areas of investment banking risk management. You'll be auditing liquidity, model, counterparty credit, operational and financial risk as well as looking at the front to back trade lifecycle through trading desk audits. The regulatory compliance frameworks which underpin trading activity will also be part of this role.

This is a role where someone with good level academic achievement, the right mindset, communication skills and some relevant experience can benefit from thorough training in both internal audit and the technical details of the banking environment that you will be auditing.

You may have worked in external audit with banking clients or in internal audit in a retail or corporate bank and want to challenge yourself with investment banking. You may be in a different field within finance and have some investment banking knowledge and like the idea of learning the skills of an audit professional.
