Job Description

Experienced IT Infrastructure engineer required for a leading City based insurance syndicate.

Candidates should have a good understanding of workload management and prioritization. They will also be required to create good documentation and following processes. Responsibilities will include upgrading, managing and maintaining existing environments. They will be involved in helping to develop and configure environments for new and existing projects.

A good understanding of the importance of IT security and the constant requirement to update and evolve the protection is essential.

Good communication skills are required and appreciating how to ensure all IT users achieve the best experience from the systems they access.

Understanding of Disaster Recovery requirements and how they are best achieved which includes performing and create DR tests.

  • Experience with Microsoft server, workstation and office products

  • System monitoring and troubleshooting
