Job Description

My client, a solutions and asset management business, is seeking an IT Operations Manager with a proven record managing high performing teams and external partners in the delivery of ICT services and technical support.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Responsibility for day-to-day Group-Wide technical operations including: Data centre hosting, server infrastructure, networks, end user support, unified communications and end user support.
  • Responsibility for security of platforms and end user estate, including oversight of prevailing and future toolsets. DR & BCP co-ordination, from a tech perspective.
  • Responsibility for day to day management of third parties and outsource partners. Oversee performance, provide governance and continual improvement plans associated with such partners by attending Service Reviews and holding partners accountable to SLA/KPI and other key metrics

The successful Operations Manager will:

  • Come from a front-line service desk or technical support team, preferably within the Finance or Managed Service Provider sectors
  • Possess a good understanding of security platforms and incident management process
  • Have experience in dealing with management and business users at all levels
  • Have managed third party suppliers and partners providing critical services
  • Demonstrate good understanding of end user platforms and common unified comms solutions
