The supportive culture and forward thinking CISO will encourage the future candidate's autonomy by allowing the IT Service Continuity Management Specialist to manage and influence the security budget. The successful IT Service Continuity Management Specialist will proactively look for problems as well as quickly find solutions and have experience in effectively working between different teams of people.
The successful IT Service Continuity Management Specialist will:
- Have the ability to deliver day-to-day support for delivering IT service continuity plans and their periodic testing
- Ability to deliver IT Service Desk Checks, DR Walkthroughs
- Tracing and dealing with any assigned risks and issues
- Assess the effectiveness of plans by assisting in planning and operating of stimulated exercises
- Support in carrying out and invocation of DR Plans
- Responsible for tracking budget spend
- Experience in tracking progress action plans post DR test
- Ability to provide pacy service if a disaster or significant outage occurs
The ideal IT Service Continuity Management Specialist will demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- 2 years' experience in an IT Service Continuity team/role
- Experience working in a complex Service Management environment
- Using previous experience to design and preserve IT service continuity plans within a large, distributed industrial organisation
- Using previous knowledge to administer Service Continuity Tests and manage post-test remediation actions working within the ITIL framework
