My client a leading insurer tech business seeks an engineer who knows the ins/outs of functional programming in JavaScript. Someone that enjoys designing, testing, and implementing modern JavaScript solutions using RxJS and React. Able to bring ideas to the table, solve challenges independently, but work collaboratively. Enjoy working with other opinionated, but humble, developers, that are capable of listening to other people's ideas and integrate them to bring the best ideas forward.
We are looking for:
Must have
- Proven skills JavaScript development experience.
- Good understanding of clean code principles and practices.
- RxJS and React, Angular (which is not used directly.)
- Experience writing functional programming.
- TDD
- Linux, GIT.
- Feel comfortable with code reviews and pull requests.
- Some exposure to writing backend services on node
Nice to have:
- Cloud / AWS experience.
