Lead Data Engineer is required by leading financial services company to work as part of a Data Science & Customer Analytics programme.
Due to the nature of the role, you will need the following experience:
- Must have previous project experience assisting the Data Scientists, working out and assigning various algorithm’s to assist with the movement of old data into real-time data to then correlate into more high end data analytics pipelines.
- Must be considered and expert in their field for use of Python, SAS and SQL.
- Any experience on Greenfield Data Warehouse build projects, or the modernising of legacy Data Warehouses is a must have for this position.
- Must have worked extensively on large amounts of customer data (working within insurance businesses would be highly advantageous)
- Needs to have a strong exposure of working with Opensource database technologies (preferably postgres)
